Introduction of ROCOCO’s special-order sleeping shirts from JAPAN BLUE JEANS.

The design is based on the sleeping shirts that soldiers were issued as pyjamas. The detail work of those days has been interpreted in a modern way and reconstructed as a special order from ROCOCO.

The use of an austere and expressive herringbone fabric makes this an item that works well with a variety of coordinates.

JAPAN BLUE JEANS
A textile manufacturer in the Kojima area of Okayama Prefecture, which is world-renowned for its denim. Based on the craftsmanship of Japanese artisans, the company’s manufacturing is resource-conserving and environmentally friendly.

An austere fabric
Made from 100% cotton herringbone fabric. The fabric has a richly expressive feel and is product-dyed to give it a deep colour, so you can enjoy the colour fading over time as it is worn and washed repeatedly.

It also features a light fabric thickness and a dry feel against the skin, making it comfortable to wear even during the sweaty season.

Modern interpretation of the original
The design is based on a vintage military sleeping shirt. The detail work of the period has been interpreted in a modern way and reconstructed as a special order by ROCOCO.

The neck is a simple crew neck design, accented with a button on the left shoulder.

A pocket with a pen slot is located on the left chest.

Cufflinks are placed at the cuffs. Two buttonholes are provided so that the cuff width can be adjusted and the silhouette can be arranged.

Relaxed silhouette with a firm decision
A generally relaxed box silhouette. While being roomy, it is finished in a piece that gives you a sense of “adult composure” without being overdone. As a shirt, of course, you can enjoy it in a wide range of coordinates, just like wearing a T-shirt.
